Titans hosted 3 Juvenile games last Saturday Dec12th in Westside.
Titans U12 Boys beat Claregalway with a fine 3rd quarter display that seperated the sides. Claregalway's starting five were very strong and took the lead 6:2 by the end of the 1st quarter. Titans outscored the visitors 10:4 in the second quarter courtesy of strong defensive rebounding from Eoin Coughlan and fast-break lay-ups from Adi Donovan. Titans best period was in the 3rd quarter, as Niall Bree, Donovan, Coughlan, Tobi Aro and Ruairi Grealish knocked in 16 points and extended the lead to 10 points. Claregalway responded early in the 4th quarter with baskets from Ryan O'Sullivan reducing the margin to just 6 points. Following a time-out Titans gained their composure and scored 8 points without reply. |

Titans u12 Girls took to the court against their guests Claregalway Wed Dec9th in Galway City. Titans jumped to an early lead with baskets in succession from Aoife Elwood. Stephanie O'Connell then sunk a short jumper to open Claregalway's account. Meave Larkin extend the home lead on the next offense, but Claregalway repsonded with a fine score from Thaindo Mthembu. At the end of the first stanza Titans lead 6:4.

Titans National League Men travel to Ballina this weekend eager for a road win to remain in touch with the competition leaders, St Marys of Castleisland. Ballina will be a test for Titans as they look to continue the improvement recently shown and will be in no doubt that only a team performance will be needed. |
